Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Please tell us about yourself, Is Backstage your first crypto venture? It would be interesting to know about your exploits so far and how you ended up in crypto.
A — Alessio from Backstage: I’m Alessio and I’m the Business Development Manager of Backstage.
I have been in the company since day one, before venturing with Backstage I was working as a Marketing Manager in a big corporation.
Crypto started fascinating me in 2019 when I became aware of the many benefits that crypto can offer to mainstream businesses.
I’ve been studying a lot about crypto and decided to run a crypto project with my friends.
Since we have been involved throughout life in the event industry it wasn’t that hard to spread our network and build connections worldwide. People who have faced any kind of problems in the event industry very quickly recognize Backstage as a game-changer.
I would say that the experience, knowledge, and creative minds mixed up together and that’s how Backstage was born.
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: You mentioned that you built Backstage with your friends. Can you tell us about the team behind the project?
A — Alessio from Backstage: We gathered a team of specialists in all sectors from Design, Marketing, Strategy, Tech, Developers, etc
But, the Core Team is been working in the Entertainment Industry for over 20 years knowing in and out, problems and solutions that we merge with the WEB3 and Blockchain Tech

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Cool. Let’s dive deeper into the project. What is Backstage about in a few simple sentences?
A — Alessio from Backstage: Backstage is an entire ECOSYSTEM that brings the WEB 3 technology to the ENTERTAINMENT Industry; is divided into ramifications: MARKETPLACE, POS WALLET, NFT TICKETING PLATFORM, LAUNCHPAD CROWDFUNDING, METAVERSE. All powered by our BKS token.
The BKS Marketplace, where all event transactions take place, focuses on NFT ticketing solutions designed to drive merchandise sales and fan-artist engagement and loyalty NFTs to grant the community special rights and benefits.
On our NFT Marketplace users will be able to buy NFTs of their favorite artists (we have a couple of surprises here) as well as tickets for events and any other event promoted on the BKS Marketplace.
Thanks to the BKS Launchpad, the event industry will experience a new renaissance.
For the first time in history, event organizers and entertainment producers will finally have a place where they can meet with investors and find the key support needed to kick start their projects.
The use cases of our POS Wallet are endless. On the BKS Wallet, users can store/hold and trade $BKS tokens and NFTs, buy and hold tickets, show proof of ownership of tickets, stake $BKS tokens, and connect to the Launchpad and Marketplace. Owners can easily accept crypto payments with the top crypto project in the space and finally help for crypto mass adoption in the mainstream network.
NFT ticketing is gonna be the Feature that makes Entertainment evolve; we are looking at a 1.7 billion dollar market that is gonna increase 35% in the next 5 years.
Ticketmaster, to give you an example, only covers 2% of this business making the Ticketing Industry one of the most important bridges to bring WEB3 TECH to mainstream adoption. Thanks to NFTs, all businesses can engage more with their communities, increase their revenues and take out middlemen and extra fees giving back to the creators and fans what they really deserve.
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: NFTs definitely has the potential to enhance the ticketing experience for ticket buyers and event organizers. Can you explain to us more about NFT ticketing, how it works and which solutions you offer to users? What is NFT with special privileges?
A — Alessio from Backstage: NFT TECH allows businesses to be more transparent in all transactions and more secure for who creates them and who buys them. They take out middlemen allowing low costs and more revenue shares for ARTISTS, CREATORS, and Fans
Plus thanks to ROYALTIES, LOYALTIES, and Utility Businesses, Clubs, Venues, and the same Artists can engage more with their crowd, increase their revenues and protect their investments. They can even do targeting campaigns

Q — Telegram user Jacky: What will be the main feature of BKS LAUNCHPAD? How can artists and Investors get help from this launchpad?
A — Alessio from Backstage: Very Good question! So venues, clubs, festivals, and artists are able to publicize their projects or work and the community is going to help them to finance their projects thanks to the BKS tokens! So fans are gonna be able to bring their favorite artist to their homes, help him or her to do a Tour, or make the dream of some people become reality and participate in the creation of a new festival!
Q — Telegram user Hiban: Backstage’s approach to music is very innovative and impressive, but I wonder how you plan to attract more people to join this very interesting platform? And Are you planning to focus on users in the crypto space only or will you use a marketing strategy to attract non-crypto users?
A — Alessio from Backstage: We are merging two ecosystems for the first time in history! Coming from the event industry we know what drives community and having expertise on the crypto side is helping us to simplify that connection. The platform is gonna be a sharing network of existing ones! So we are not changing the structure of existing businesses we only give them an extra tool to improve their systems and revenues
Q — Telegram user Metaverse: In the Traditional Music Industry, There are a lot of Barriers to any artist selling their albums. How do you solve these problems?
A — Alessio from Backstage: Thanks to the MARKETPLACE everyone is gonna be able to promote their creations and connect with a huge network of people around the world
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Tell us more about the $BKS token. What role does it play in the Backstage ecosystem?
A — Alessio from Backstage: Our goal is for $BKS and the BKS Wallet to become the primary currency and wallet for the global events and entertainment industry. The BKS token will play a big role at events as both a source of funding and a decentralized currency that can be used at all Backstage events.
With the BKS token, you’ll also be able to pay for accommodations, refreshments, and many goods and services by all partners from our network. Our tokenomics include buybacks, burning, staking, and instantaneous liquidity, but we’ve also ensured the BKS token is the primary way you spend money at Backstage and partner events.
Q — Twitter user @18BIKASHAGENT802: Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Can you tell us about your current partners, plans for partnerships, and what everybody stands to gain from these partnerships
A — Alessio from Backstage: That’s for us was the main goal since day one! We have been closing deals for the last 15 months to be able to have a supply and demand structure after launch to be independent of the Crypto Market! We are a 70% Mainstream business and 30% Crypto. Our goal is to bring the TECH of WEB 3 to WEB 2. At the moment we are partners with top Clubs in TULUM, IBIZA, and MIAMI.
Venues around the world, Art’s and Music Festivals, Hotel, Beach clubs, Sports Teams, and much more.
We are soon releasing our biggest partner so far so stay tuned and follow our social media.
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What sets Backstage apart from other projects that seek to solve the event ticketing problems
A — Alessio from Backstage: Unlike most crypto projects right now, Backstage offers solutions for real-world business. We already have 500 mainstream businesses in our ecosystem that are ready to integrate Backstage’s technology in their business activities.
That’s why the $BKS token has a strong background and it is here to serve the businesses and provide long-term value for investors.
But if we are talking about competition in the real world — I would say that our advantage is that we have designed a win-win model for each participant in the event industry.
Ticket buyers get many perks with a single ticket they can even earn by selling a ticket after the event, venues can easily fundraise, artists don’t lose money on high fees, etc.
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: How far along are you with your roadmap and what should we expect in the next weeks and months?
A — Alessio from Backstage: As I’ve mentioned before, we already have 500 mainstream businesses in our ecosystem, so integration of Backstage technology into partners’ businesses is one of the priorities after IDO. Also, we will launch Marketplace and keep developing our system.
Right now we are focused on IDO and TGE, but we keep building our connections every day. We have many A-list artists and venues that are willing to work with us and ready to be announced.
