We asked him questions about the development of Tribeland.

Some sentences have been slightly edited for readability but the meaning has been conserved.


Tribeland’s starter continent: Pangea is filled with dangerous beasts and rare resources. A world full of mysteries and rewards awaiting brave explorers. It is an open-world game with endless exploration options for players.

Players will enjoy an interesting and unique role-playing experience with 4 tribes and their own quest system. The Cross-tribes system allows endless possibilities of character development and customization.

Players will feel as though they live in a primordial world, making friends with mysterious creatures and striving to find their own way, thanks to fresh experiences in character development, training, gathering, and exploration brought by Tribeland.

Tribeland has four continents, each with a limited number of territories that players can own. When a player owns a territory, they can construct buildings to unlock additional features in the game. A territory has 3 levels. The higher the level, the more buildings can be built inside (maximum 10 buildings per territory).


Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Please introduce yourself. What did you do before crypto and did you have any other previous venture in crypto?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: My name is Dandy Rabi, currently the CEO of the Tribeland project. I have been working in the crypto market for the last 4 years. I have worked on several Defi and game projects till last year and decided to create my own team to build my own idea. It took me 3 months to gather the current Tribeland team. The Tribeland Team consists of people with rich experience in their own field of expertise. What we have in common is our passion for games and blockchain technology. Sitting together, we realize that we can make the gamers’ dream come true, and that’s how Tribeland was born.

Before all these crypto-related businesses, I worked in a traditional game company. That’s why I have enough connections and talents to build Tribeland.

About Tribeland

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What is the Tribeland project about in a few simple sentences?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: I would like to extend my answer a little bit.

Tribeland is a MMORPG Play-to-Earn game that is like no others before. I can’t really give you a “short description” of it. Instead, I will tell you guys the 3 most significant things about Tribeland, a general idea of how the game works, and how you can earn back your time and effort playing Tribeland.

Now, the first part: 3 most significant things about Tribeland:

1: With the help of Solana, Tribeland is a true real-time RPG game. Almost every item, resource in the game are NFTs. Every action related to these NFTs, like equip/unequip, trade, drop,… is simple and swift, bringing the best gaming experience possible for gamers right now.

2: Tribeland has 2 different kinds of tokens, which serve different purposes.

One is $TRBL, which has a limited total supply and a deflation mechanism. This Token is used in crowd-funding rounds, Vote in the game’s T-DAO, as well as participate in the game’s DeFi activities. Next is $SHELL, which has the total supply increasing alongside the development of Tribeland. This token is used to pay for in-game activities, such as resource mining, forging items, improving territories, upgrading buildings, etc.

This token can be exchanged for $TRBL, and is charged inflationary. The purpose of this token is to create a stable monetary base for Tribeland, without affecting the governing operations of the entire system.

3: We have the territory feature, a limited kind of NFT, which will increase its value alongside the game development. Owning a Territory gives players unique features that are not available for normal players. More and more perks will be given to territory owners as time goes. 2nd part: a general idea of how the game work:

To play Tribeland, you have to have at least 1 Hero and 1 Beast (which can be bought from the marketplace). You will form a team of 1 Hero and 1–4 Beasts. You will manually control your Hero, but the Beats will act automatically.

Players will start off in one of the four beginner villages (based on the tribe of your Hero). The beginners’ In the village is a safe zone, where players can get used to the game without incurring any penalties. However, rewards granted from the starting gameplay are pretty limited and insignificant compared to the main gameplay. To go beyond the beginners’ village to join the actual world of Tribeland, players must accomplish a main-quest to demonstrate a mastery of the game’s basic fundamentals.

After getting out of beginner village, players are free to enjoy the open world of Tribeland. Nevertheless, players should be well aware of the risk and pay attention closely to their level and strength to avoid overstepping into dangerous areas where enemies are much stronger than them, which might result in unwanted damages and losses.

Tribeland has 4 separate quest systems corresponding with 4 main tribes. The player can discover the plot of the Tribleland world through the quest system. By completing the main quests, the player will be rewarded with valuable prizes and enhancements, which will come in handy for territory expansion and further adventures. The main quest, on the other hand, is not mandatory. If you are a libertarian, you can still explore the whole game without any limitation. There is no land or area restricted as “Quest Only”. Lands are wide open; it only depends on your ability to explore them.

In addition to the main quest, the side quest system is also the pride of the Tribeland game development team. There are no instructions on how to obtain side quests; it is entirely up to the player to interact with the world and the NPCs. There are tens of thousands of side quests spread across the globe of Tribeland waiting for players to discover.

That’s the general idea of how Tribeland works as an RPG. To further increase the player’s gaming experience, we also have other PvP game modes to enjoy.

After reaching a certain level, the players can create their own clan and invite other players to join. Clan war will be held every 2 months, with 5 strongest registered players from each clan facing off in a 5v5 combat against opposing clans.

Another competition is The Tournament, which will start at the beginning of each month and last for 2 weeks. During the Tournament, players will fight against other players to achieve a higher position in the ranking system. Tribeland is a true MMORPG, so you can’t fully understand it until you try it out. How to earn playing Tribeland: Almost every asset in Tribeland is NFTs. Therefore, your every effort is rewarded accordingly. The ways to earn in Tribeland can be summaries as: — Receive NFTs as gaming rewards. — Upgrading your NFTs (Heroes, Beasts, Territories) to increase its value. — Collect taxes from other players renting buildings on your territories. — DeFi activities. Those are not “a few sentences” but I wanted to share with you guys the clearest idea of what we’re working on.

Q — Telegram user Shito San 🌳: Reading about Tribe Land I could see that your concept is incredibly inspired by legends from many mythologies from various regions of the world. Who was in charge of creating the concept and the story behind Tribe Land? What ancient stories were you inspired by?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: Actually I got the idea after reading “homo sapiens”, which was the root of Tribeland. Many other ideas come up from our team members, developers, operators. Basically, I collected ideas from everyone I know and tried to put the best on Tribeland.

Q — Twitter user @Nguyenhuybach12: As far as I know, they developed amazing creatures like Centrosaurus and Mosasaurus. So, can you give more information about these amazing creatures? What other creatures have you developed?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: One of the first things that came to my mind when I made this project is Mosasaurus, the whale-like creature which was overpowered during its existence. People were talking about T-rex t-rex t-rex but I prefer Mosasaurus.

Both Centrosaurus and Mosasaurus play as tankers and massive damage dealers in the game, their main abilities are disabled abilities and protective abilities. If you want to know their stats and skills, you can find them at our substack.


Besides those 2 epic creatures, we worked on many other beats: Dragons (draco), Panthera, Winged Dinosaur (Pterosauria), etc

Q — Twitter user @ladyanitax: Could you tell me about how demanding your game will be for the devices and what kind of graphics will TribeLand have when it is released? Will the game be available for phones or only PC?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: We know that the community plays a big role in the success of a project. Therefore, mass adoption is an important goal for us. From the start, we have planned to build the game not just on pc, but also on other platforms, from android/IOS to PS and XBOX. We want everyone to enjoy Tribeland with whatever they have, at any time they want. That is also the reason why we choose to make our game 2D, for that any device will be able to run smoothly.

Q — Telegram user Am4 SF: Will the beasts play critical roles in the TribeLand game

A — Dandy from Tribeland: Besides heroes, beasts also have their significant fighting power. Players choose to build their team of heroes and beats. In the game, you control the hero, beasts will act automatically. Beasts usually act as compensation for what the hero is lacking off (damage, healing, front-line).

Q — Telegram user Nico: I understand that when players construct buildings they unlock in-game features but could you tell me about the additional features that are unlocked by constructing buildings? What are the different types of buildings that can be constructed within a territory?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: A territory has 3 levels. The higher the level, the more buildings can be built inside (maximum 10 buildings per territory). Buildings that can be built and its features are listed below:

- Blacksmith: Forging weapons
- Hero training camp: Enhancing heroes’ power
- Beast training camp: Strengthening the power of beasts
- Mineral mines: Mining minerals
- Temple: Granting buffs for heroes
- Breeding cage: Unlocking breeding function
- Farm: Gathering foods for beasts
- Guild House: Creating and assigning quests to other players

Building types will be updated and expanded as the game progresses.

Q — Telegram user Us: Tribeland took the wise decision to choose Solana to deploy the ecosystem. Apart from Solana, do you want to add more blockchains in the future?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: We have tested the game on various chains, for now, Solana fits our requirement for a smooth gaming experience since it can handle real-time scenarios. We’re planning to make Tribeland available on multiple blockchains and platforms. It will adopt more blockchains in the near future.


Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What role does the token play in the Tribe Land ecosystem?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: We have 2 tokens: $TRBL and $SHELL

$TRBL can be considered a type of digital asset as it shares the same characteristics with other types of valuable digital assets. $TRBL has many use cases, which help it retain a certain inherent value associated with the development of Tribeland. Tribeland’s Tokenomics is designed to preserve Decentralization to ensure no single party can fully control Tribeland’s system.

Use cases of $TRBL: + Buy and own Territories in the game. + Increase voting power in T-DAO decisions. + Reduce fees on the Marketplace and Auction House. + Redeem $SHELL to use as an in-game currency. + Incentives for Liquidity Providers of $TRBL on Raydium. + $TRBL stakeholders will receive a part of the revenue of the entire Ecosystem, based on the amount of $TRBL they are holding.

$SHELL is the main currency used in the game. The primary purpose is to reward in-game activities and support the development of the Tribeland ecosystem without affecting the value of $ TRBL and the business governing of the system.

$SHELL is an inflationary currency, meaning there will be no total supply of $SHELL, and T-DAO can decide to print more.

When the game launches at the end of 2021, 300 million $SHELL will be released to the market. As a result, players can exchange $TRBL for $SHELL at a 1:1 exchange rate in a short period of time after the launch event. After that, the exchange rate will change based on the game development and the market demand.


Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Did you raise funds so far? If so, how did you handle them? Are you planning to do any future raises?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: We don’t have a Private sale. Instead, we have raised 3 million USD by selling 50% of the in-game territories in our first phase for private investors. This was also our strategy to avoid selling pressure from private investors. We only raise through our IDO.

For the IDO, details will be announced in the next few days. This is the audit for our IDO.

Business Development

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: How far along are you with your roadmap and what should we expect in the next weeks and months?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: Our roadmap will be divided into several phases. Each phase will have different goals. Our ultimate goal is to create a fully decentralized metaverse, where the player-base and community can have complete control over the entire operations of the game.

First Era: 2021–2022: Product Development and User Acquisition. In the first phase of our development, we will focus on finishing our products, especially the base game and in-game DeFi hub. The first major expansion of Tribeland will also be available at the end of 2022.

This is also the period where we are building the loyal player-base for our ecosystem. Many incentives and rewards will be granted to players in this period.

Second Era: 2023–2024: Introducing T-DAO and Ecosystem Growth. The second phase of our development will focus on decentralizing the game ecosystem. Tribe Council will be selected, voting features will be implemented, allowing users to vote for gaming balance.

We expect the number of monthly active users will range from at least 100,000 to 200,000 users during this phase. Another Major expansion will be released at the end of 2023.

Third Era: Fully Decentralization and Ecosystem Blooming. At this point, the token supply will be fully dilute, and the Tribe Council will take charge of the game direction entirely.

The main developers will still be working to follow the direction of the community, with monthly incentives given to the devs. We expect this to be the phase where the player-base overgrows, as most of the core products are already released. The expected number of Monthly Active Users will be between 500,000–1 million at least.

All in all, this roadmap will be adapted according to the developing situation. But the general idea is, it will take us 4 years to make Tribeland one of the most played Blockchain games in the space, with a fully functional ecosystem and heavily DeFi-integrated products that help maintain our inherent values in-game assets.

As in the near future, we will release the beta version of the game shortly after the IDO. You will be able to play our beta version in January 2022.

Q — Telegram user Anitax: Seeing TribeLand I found it a very interesting game so, what plans do you have to make the game available in multiple languages or have subtitles for all players to understand your great game? What plans do you have to create local and regional communities?

A — Dandy from Tribeland: Currently, we’re focusing on English communities since it’s the national language, and it’s a wise way to expand our project. Of course, for non-English speakers, Tribeland will have subtitles and local communities starting from Q1/2022.
