The Next Big Alternative Therapy System
As we all know, the greatest breakthrough in medicine in the 1790’s was made by Samuel Hahnemann when he noticed that cinchona bark, a malaria cure, caused malaria like symptoms in himself. From this, he deduced that things that cause symptoms in a healthy person could cure those symptoms in ill people; a principle he called the law of similars. As large doses of symptom causing substances could potentially be dangerous to give to someone who is ill, Hahnemann decided that if he diluted these substances, he could keep the symptom causing properties, without the keeping the harmful effects. To this end, he diluted the substances over and over again.
We know these dilutions today as either C or X dilutions, where C is a dilution of 1:10, so a 10C dilution is diluted by taking 1 part substance to 10 parts solute and repeating 10 times, by taking 1 part of the 1:10 solute and repeating the process a further 9 times. X is 1:100 by the same method. Between each dilution, the solute is ‘succussed’, or ‘potentised’ by agitating a freshly diluted solution by banging the container hard against a hard but elastic object such as a leather-bound book. This process keeps the healing power of the original substance in the mixture, whilst removing its harmful properties.
It is believed that, the more diluted the original substance, the more potent the remedy. Hence, a 10X remedy is more ‘powerful’ and curative than a 10C remedy. The remedies are then mixed with sugar pills and carefully bottled to ensure that their curative powers are not diminished.
A homeopath consults with the patient, taking notes on their general state, well being and emotional state, before prescribing whatever remedy the homeopath deems most closely matches the symptoms.
That is where my latest innovation takes over.
Homeopaths are still stuck in the 18th century with their thinking, using potions and pills to provide their cures. I am proposing a radical new way to provide the healing power of homeopathy to the people: Aromeopathy™.
By taking the remedies that homeopathy provides, I have devised a delivery method that far surpasses anything that homeopathy can hope to provide on its own. Each remedy is delivered via a vapour that is breathed in, the vapour being delivered almost directly into the bloodstream via the lungs, meaning the patient is cured many times faster than using regular methods. It also is far more useful for people who have trouble swallowing or might be allergic to any of the ingredients in the pills.
The way this works is surprisingly simple — each remedy is kept in liquid form and placed into a special glass container (the Aromeopathy™ Diffuser), similar to a small narrow necked vase. into this are placed special porous reeds which wick up the liquid and allow it to evaporate one it reaches the top of the reed.
At the bottom of the container is a small magnetic stirring rod, attached to a base that plugs into any available wall socket, allowing the liquid inside to be continually succussed, increasing the potency of the remedy. The magnetic field is weak enough to not cause any EM sensitivity to susceptible people, and is only used to succuss the Aromeopathy™ liquid. Manually sucussable Diffusers are available upon request, but you must remember to succuss at least once a day against a suitable elastic object.
Each ‘dose’ will be provided after a consultation with your local Aromeopathist™, who will consult with you on your symptoms and room size, so that the correct dosage and volume of remedy suitable for your room can be prescribed for you. They will take careful note of your interior decor, room ventilation and places where sunlight may interfere with the Aromeopathy Diffuser™ and advise on best placement so that you gain the maximum benefits.
