Liquidity is essential for the survival of DAOs

The aim of this partnership strategy is twofold, firstly to attract more users to engage with xToken Terminal and, secondly, to help further bootstrap Galleon’s governance token ($DBL) liquidity.

We have a number of exciting milestones coming over the next few months, including new ETH structured products, our protocol deployment on Arbitrum and our Cursed Pirates NFT “Summoning event”. All of these initiatives should help to bolster liquidity, enabling Galleon’s ability to utilize it’s token treasury, which is key to the longevity of our project (even in a bear market).

New Initiatives — Bonding and LPs

LP Incentives

We will introduce new liquidity incentives for both The ETH Max Yield Index ($ETHMAXY) on mainnet with (dual incentives) $DBL and $XTK tokens, additionally on our newest product the ETH Dynamic Leverage Index (ETH-X) on Optimism with $OP tokens. This will add an APR % sweetener for any potentially interested liquidity providers on both products.

$DBL Bonds

Introducing a new Bonding mechanism that enables users to bond liquidity tokens for vesting locked doubloon at a discounted premium, encouraging the growth of the DBL-WETH liquidity pool.

The vesting schedule is 7 days.
The bonding discount will be monitored and adjusted in accordance with the current price of $DBL to avoid potential situations of significant pricing discrepancy.
