Animal World Mural Camp at Little Artistas

Veteran’s Day Camp for kids age 3–5 (Noe Valley, San Francisco)

Also for kids ages 6–10 at Glen Park location.

This Veteran’s Day camp is perfect preschoolers as well as older kids. Since 2013, Little Artistas has brought hands-on artistic experiences to kids. They strive to instill in a life-long love for art in their students by creating a safe space for kids to explore.

Their mural camps have become some of the most popular in the city. For November 10th, they’ll be doing animal-themed murals while the kiddos get some hands-on experience from coming up with a concept, sketching out a design, to painting a beautiful mural.

Fashion Engineering Camp at Maker Studio SF

Veteran’s Day Camp for kids age 8–16 (Russian Hill, San Francisco)

At Maker Studio kids get their STEAM education on to absorb all things math, technology, and engineering via fashion design. You read that right. Fashion design. They are single-handedly rebranding engineering as a female-focused field all while de-stigmatizing fashion design at the same time.

This one-day camp on November 10th will get kids brainstorming, designing, and even using 3D printing and sewing to bring their designs to life.

Animal Camp with San Francisco SCPA

Veteran’s Day Camp for kids age 6–11 (Mission, San Francisco)

If you have a young animal lover at home, San Francisco SCPA’s Animal Camp on November 10th is a perfect fit. Kids will learn how to train and care for animals, be responsible pet guardians and make their community a safer place for all four-legged friends.

This one-day camp will include animal care and behavior learning activities, team projects, games, crafts and hands-on interactions with dogs, cats, and other small animals.

Kids’ Sports Camp with GrowFit

Veteran’s Day Camp for kids age 4–13 (Redwood City)

If you’ve got a kiddo that has boundless energy and you’re looking for a Veteran’s Day Camp in the Peninsula, well you’re in luck, GrowFit is fueled by energetic and fun-loving PE teachers who will keep your kids engaged all day.

Over the years, GrowFit has designed loads of age-appropriate games and challenges that give kids the opportunity to build self-confidence, develop relationships and, of course, have lots of fun. This camp also gives everyone access to GrowFit’s game room, where they can learn magic tricks and play board games… or even design their own new games for campers to play.

Tinkering for Tinkering Camp for Girls with Renegade Girls Tinkering Club

Veteran’s Day Camp for kids age 5–11 (Presidio Heights, San Francisco)

As we’ve mentioned before, the team at Renegade Girls Tinkering Club are on a mission to kick ass and change the future demographics of STEM fields. In this girls-only Tinkering for Tinkering camp, kids will get a first look at some of the new projects in development for the winter session.

If you were never able to sign up for one of Renegade Girls’ after-school classes, this is the perfect opportunity for your daughter to spend the day making and tinkering in a flexible, creative environment.
