The term “date night” can be so anxiety-inducing, maybe you’re heading out for a night of wining and dining, but maybe you just want to eat chocolate without a tiny human asking for some, or maybe you even want to use the downtime to finally learn how to use your Instant Pot. Doesn’t matter, but just make life easier on yourself and tell the kids you were at work.

Here’s a rundown of some awesome Drop-Off spots in the Bay Area. You can find even more on Galore and book your date night right here and now.

1. Play Haven

Neighborhood: Forest Hill, SF

Ages: 2 years — 6 years

Play Haven offers creative play activities, a special art project, games, and story time during their drop-offs for date nights. Plus they have every kids favorite: pizza …okay, and fruits and veggies too. Play Haven is a quick walk to the Forest Hill Muni station.

2. Yoga Alameda

Neighborhood: Alameda

Ages: 4 years — 11 years

While you’ll be taking some much-needed me-time, your kiddo(s) will be having the time of their lives playing martial arts games, tumbling, dancing, yoga-ing and more. Plus, dinner is provided too.

3. Imagination Playhouse

Neighborhood: Outer Richmond, SF

Ages: 2.5 Years — 10 years

If you’re headed out to a movie for date night, send your littles out for the same — a laid back night at Imagination Playhouse will do the trick. The excellent team there take care of dinner and lead a night of art, music, play time, story time and finally a movie.

4. Peek-a-Boo Factory

Neighborhood: West Portal, SF

Ages: 3 years — 10 years

Drop the kids off at Peek-a-Boo factory for a fun-filled evening of arts and crafts, group activities, games, puzzles, story time and more, while you treat yourself to a night out. And remember that all kiddos should make sure to bring socks in order to enjoy the awesome indoor playground here.

5. Little Artistas

Neighborhood: Glen Park, SF

Ages: 4 years — 10 years

Little Artistas themes their date nights, like this one with a night with Moana, sing alongs, pizza-eating, and matching Moana boat crafting. Just be prepared for lots of “You’re Welcome” on the ride home.
