Lunar New Year Camps in the Bay Area

Lunar New Year Day Camp (Mission, SF)

Have the kiddos join Mariposa Kids for a trip to the Children’s Creativity Museum. They can immerse themselves in tons of their exhibits, including Sketch Town, Where they draw their own buildings and interact with their creations on the big screen.

Mosaic Day Camp (Berkeley)

Campers will create their own unique mosaics on wooden bases. Sticky Art Lab is all about conservation and letting kids experiment with exciting scrap materials while bringing home unique handmade projects.

Haring + Banksy: Dancing Dog Portrait (Mission, SF)

It’s Lunar New Year, and we’re about to enter the year of the Dog. Join Sketchbook Studio for this one day camp, where they’ll look to artists Keith Haring and Banksy to create self-portraits of the kiddos along with dancing dogs.

Lunar New Year Camp (Noe Valley & Glen Park, SF)

Celebrate the year of the Dog and also make Chinese lanterns with Little Artistas. With two locations, kids age 6–10 will head to the Glen Park location and kids age 3–5 will head to the Noe Valley location.

JAMcamp (Outer Sunset, SF)

JAMcamp will celebrate the Lunar New Year by learning about the moon, moon cycles, and different ways of measuring time and celebrating the new year. They’ll also sing about the moon and the sun, practice Moon Meditation, and create some collaborate art based on these magical celestial bodies. Kids will leave refreshed, energized, inspired, and more in touch with the universe!
