Galxe Teams up for Arbitrum Odyssey
Being one of the leading Web3 credential data networks, we at Galxe continuously aim to help Web3 developers and projects to leverage digital credential data and NFTs, ultimately building better projects and communities, across different blockchains.
With that being said, the Arbitrum Odyssey is one of the most exciting projects that we have been brewing over the past few months in collaboration with Arbitrum and none other than Ratwell and Sugoi, renowned for being some of the best illustrators in the crypto and NFT space. With 17 exclusive and free-minted NFTs up for grabs, this initiative is one that you don’t want to miss.
Arbitrum, an L2 optimistic rollup scaling solution for Ethereum, offers trustless security, compatibility with Ethereum, and scalability, all while ensuring minimum costs for its users. Industry-leading illustrators Ratwell and Sugoi are known for their tubby cats NFT collections, and many more. This multi-partner collaboration has us excited like never before.
About the Initiative
Through this project, users will have the opportunity to explore a number of different parts of the Galxe and Arbitrum ecosystems, from bridging DeFi, and all things NFTs and GameFi. Over the two month-long initiative, users have the chance to explore and complete projects within the Arbitrum ecosystem and have the chance to receive NFTs in return. By collecting a minimum of 13 out of 16 NFTs, users will then receive the ultimate and exclusive arbi-verse NFT designed exclusively by Ratwell and Sugoi.
In April of 2022, The Arbitrum Odyssey broadcast announced that 56 of the most active projects on Artbitrum were to be randomized into a total of 14 pools of four, after which community members voted for their favorite projects, giving them an opportunity to win one of the few exclusive NFTs, custom-designed for the project.
The Journey
Starting June 21st, assets can be onboarded through centralized exchanges and decentralized bridges, including Banxa, Mt. Pelerin, and Transak. Bonus NFTs will be given to users that use a decentralized bridge with the most inbound volume in ETH/tokens (without bridging out of course).
Over a 9-week period, events will be set out in the following order:
Week 1: Bridging Week. Confirmed list: 3 Cex, 16 Dex;
Week 2 — Week 8: Specific tasks, with 2 projects released each week;
Week 9: Final Arbi NFT.
Special tasks will be revealed each week, which can be viewed on our FAQ page. The projects included are Yield Protocol, GMX, Aboard Exchange, TofuNFT, Uniswap, Apex, 1inch, Izumi/Yin Finance, Dodo, Swapr, TreasureDAO, BattleFly, Ideamarket, and Sushiswap. Users will then be able to claim NFTs for completing tasks — which will represent their involvement in this exciting initiative, with claims taking place on our website. The NFT mints will be completely free, only requiring ETH on Arbitrum as gas fees. Through this initiative, we are aiming to give back to the loyal community members who have been supporting us and Arbitrum from the very start.
Throughout the initiative, Arbitrum will have their Discord channel available for questions and guidance — ensuring that all of our users get the support that they need. We cannot wait for this journey to begin with our incredible partners and community members.
