Design Example: Night In the Woods
One of my favorite games which I think is really well-designed is Night In the Woods, which frequently makes use of very strong, bold, colors in its dream sequences which contrast it’s generally washed out color palette during other parts in its story. Here, we also see the use of size and proximity to show the vastness of Mae’s dreamscape and how big the moon is here.
