Five years have passed. In that time there have been universe shaping events, epic victories, and dark discoveries. But someone was always watching— Kabam Post

Marvel Contest of Champions, developed and published by Kabam in 2014, is a f2p fighting game in which players collect, level up, and manage teams of Marvel’s heroes and villains in a quest to become the Ultimate Marvel Champion.

Over the last 5 years, the game has continued to add characters and story quests from the Marvel comics catalogue, some in sync with the film & TV releases from Marvel and even created some originals exclusively for the game.

With the plethora of content and features being added to the game, the one feature thats remained mostly unchanged since its initial release is the elegant daily quest system — that acts as a catalyst to enable player routines — the most common behaviour in paying users across top games.

A Note on Class Bonuses

Alien Tech beats Earth Tech, Earth Tech overwhelms Mutants, Mutants resist Barbarians, Barbarians annihilate Scientists, Scientists disapprove Magicians and only Magic can beat Aliens.

Champions come in a variety of rarity and strength and belong to one of the six classes shown in the circle above. Every Class has an advantage over the Class after them in the circle and a disadvantage to the Class before them in the circle.
