While the grind in Destiny 2 isn’t going anywhere, its continued focus on strong story-telling remains in effect. The Witch Queen is the lead up to a big saga finale and it feels like it. This game has several big reveals and a repeated boss fight that actually never gets old. We have weapon crafting and a new world that is dense with secrets and treasures. Come for the Glaive, stay for Destiny’s near-perfect gunplay. If you don’t like Destiny 2, I’d stay away. If you’re a lapsed Guardian, it may be time to dust off that Sparrow.
