A few weeks ago, a client of mine was dealing with a difficult situationship.

What started as a mutual agreement of friends with benefits had turned into something more.

It was all so innocent to start. Now, she had caught feels.

And it hurt.

From her perspective, there was clearly something more there. I think we can all relate to just knowing. Sadly, the guy stayed with his initial words suggesting he wasn’t looking for anything more.

Cue intense confusion and cognitive dissonance.

Frustrated, she asked me point blank:

“We have a great connection, so why won’t he commit to me?”

And down the rabbit hole we go.

Unfortunately, I’ve been asked this MANY times before in my coaching career.

The situation is always eerily familiar:
