Erin Neuenfeldt is a recent graduate from USC where she was a member of the Beach Volleyball program. She was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll multiple times and was also named to the CCSA 2015–2016 Beach Honor roll. Although in the year 2017 Neuenfeldt was not able to compete due to injury she still maintained an amazing career within her other years. In 2016 she started in 30 matches and compiled a three-match win streak in April with partner Litsa Darby.

Neuenfeldt interned with Palmetto Autism Intervention the first part of the summer. She was responsible for two five-year-old boys. Neuenfeldt provided these boys with applied behavior analysis therapy to improve the lives of these kids and their families so they could function better with their autism. Neuenfeldt helped the boys with their daily activities/home life and did all the therapy in a naturalistic setting so that the boys could better generalize their goals.

Neuenfeldt has also been working with USC Athletics for the second half of the summer mainly working with Senior Associate Athletic Director Chris Rogers. While working with Rogers, Neuenfeldt has primarily been working with Track and Field equipment, sorting through sizes and inventorying the incoming gear.

Neuenfeldt expresses that Palmetto Autism Intervention helped with her career because she wants to be a Speech Pathologist and will be working with a lot of kids that have autism. Neuenfeldt feels that if she can better manage their behaviors and lesson the number of tantrums and outbreaks then she can spend more time on improving their speech.

Neuenfeldt will be attending graduate school at Jacksonville University for Speech-Language Pathology for the next two years. After becoming certified Neuenfeldt hopes to help stroke victims improve their speech or help young kids with their speech disorders.

Neuenfeldt has always been a go-getter and a person that could light up any room she walks into. She is a very personable girl who fits this job perfectly! Her Gamecock family knows that she will succeed very much in her future.
