GameCredits and MobileGo Development Report: July 25th

Hello everyone, and welcome to another GameCredits and MobileGo development report. First of all, we want to deeply apologize for the delay of this week’s development report. The main reason for that was reorganization and restructuring in GAME/GNation team and infrastructure(which is still ongoing).

In this week’s report we’ll go through most significant updates that GameCredits/GNation/MobileGo team worked on for the past three weeks. As always; thank you for the continuous support, and let us know if you have any additional questions we’d like to answer.

  • As we’ve shared in the previous development report, GPlay is going to bind its’ initial feature (innovative mobile game store), and competitive mobile gaming — eSports features that include watching, sponsoring and participating in various tournaments.
    Development processes of both features are done, and the only thing left is for POs (Product Owners) to decide details on the video games integration.
    So far, integration with PixelWars and CryptoPoker has showed a significant success, which were tested in GPlay closed beta, via series of internal tournaments organized by GPlay development team.
  • GShare — GNation’s mining app will undergo significant changes in the next couple of weeks. The new, ‘utility’ PC app will still be focused on mining credits, which you could later use to buy discounted games in the embedded GShare store, or donate to UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
    As far as the production goes, GShare development team managed to establish a system of collecting data from mining pools in a much faster and more efficient way.
    Besides that, the team succeeded in getting CPU pool to mine third block of the network. The main goal is to offer better support of back-end services, so the data from third block could fit in the further development of the app.
  • Core service team is focused on 5 individual services ATM:
  • User Service (unique, universal accounts for whole GNation ecosystem)
  • Payment Service (MGO and other currencies used in GNation ecosystem)
  • Legacy codebase (Codepay; maintenance for the GWallet) and support service
  • Reward service (correlated to GShare rewarding logic and charity/donation system via GShare)
  • Analytics service
  • Approximately a week ago, our developers released a closed beta of GC Lite, for limited number of users. Since dozens of community members showed an initiative to download and test the app, we’ve gathered a significant amount of feedback, which helped us react fast, and release the open beta of GC Lite this Monday.
  • GC Lite (or GameCredits Lite Client) is an easy-to-use app which allows you to safely store, send and receive GAME without a need to download/sync the GameCredits blockchain. Lite wallet is designed to offer you the simplicity of web wallet, but also a security of QT wallet at the same time.
  • With GC Lite, we aim to give our investors another tool which they can use to be in a full control of their funds.
  • Statistics have shown that approximately 100.000 of GAME was stored, with around 500 (both internal and external) transactions, and average transaction speed of 10 minutes.

Quick note: If you encounter any bugs using GC Lite, you should know that our engineers have created a small log file which they can use to remove any potential issues. You just need to send a support ticket to support@gamecredits.com, or find any of our admins/mods in any of our communication channels.

Recently, GNation made a decision to hire a new marketing/media agency, located in The United States. We had a chance of seeing the first results of their work on E3 Expo, where GNation had a booth this year.

  • As we’ve already mentioned, MobileGo has been successfully implemented into GNation payment service, as a reward in GPlay eSports features.
  • MGO swap platform has experienced a few problems with front-end production services. We are sorry for the delay, but it’s a tough process building a complex platform for swapping millions of dollars worth of tokens. According to the QA team, testing should be done sometime in August. We’ll update you on the progress in our communications channels.
