GameCredits collaborates with fantasy sports giant FanDuel to present free World Cup tournaments
GameCredits is proud to announce a collaboration with FanDuel, the world’s largest fantasy sports company, to mark the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The collaboration with this billion-dollar industry leader will enable players to win GAME by participating in FREE-TO-ENTER fantasy soccer tournaments throughout the entire month of the world’s biggest sporting event.
The tournaments — which will feature a combined prize pool of US$100,000 worth of GAME and US$35,000 in cash prizes — begin on Thursday June 14, 2018, and will run until Sunday July 15. FanDuel will promote the tournaments during this time, and players who participate in the tournaments will be introduced to the GAME currency.
The GameCredits team is incredibly excited about this opportunity, as we’ve been eager to break into the fantasy sports market since industry pioneer Matt Fortnow joined GameCredits. Matt created the world’s first fantasy sports site — which he sold to CBS way back in 1999 — and has been at the forefront of the industry over the past two decades.
