Mobile Performance Optimizations for Unreal Engine Landscapes
Working with landscapes in Unreal Engine is super fun, and they work pretty well on a decent PC setup. But, we need to make some changes to run them smoothly on mobile devices. Especially on budget & medium range devices.
This is my attempt to optimize a landscape to run inside smoothly on Nokia 3.4.
Nokia 3.4 is a budget Android device you can get around 150 USD. If we can make our landscape runs smoothly on it, we can expect our landscape to run well on most mobile devices.
