Gamedex, a Steam-like platform for blockchain-powered digital collectible cards and digital collectible card games (like Pokemon, Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering, and FIFA Ultimate Team), has selected Chainlink, the industry leader in decentralized oracle networks, to provide professional sports match results to decentralized applications on the Ethereum network.
Gamedex’s first Chainlink oracle node will leverage Gamedex’s previous investments in fantasy sports game development. The data collected from Gamedex will be made available via a Chainlink oracle to other decentralized apps. “We’re excited to work with Chainlink to power a whole new generation of decentralized games” said Chris Porter, Gamedex COO.
