Internet, obviously, took upon itself the sacred mission of crucifying her, immediatly putting in action a campaign to remind her her role of “internet personality” and “influencer”. Basically, a politically correct way of saying “just post your tits on Instagram and let others do an actual job”.

Although, as every derogatory campaign does, of course, they forgot to mention that Alanah has been a writer for small productions in the gaming industry for quite some time now, as well as a voice actor for titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Gears 5 (last installment of the Gears of War series: as sweaty and testosteronic as God of War, but with a chainsaw bayonet). Nonetheless, she has been a journalist and screenwriter at IGN and Rooster Teeth, producing shows such as Gaming Weekly and Inside Gaming.

In conclusion, not exactly the new girl on the scene.

Alanah Pearce VS. The world

Alanah, unfortunately, is not new to insults and threats on the internet. In fact, not so long ago, she was under the spotlight after sending the rape threats she received in her DMs to the mothers of the senders, obtaining the desired reaction: based on the average age of the culprits, straight to bed without dinner and no Playstation for a week.

It is impossible, looking at how the situation is unfolding, to forget the story of Isadora Basile, host of XBOX Brasil, that was forced, because of the threats she received, first to leave her home and hide at her friend’s house, and then to cut the ties with Microsoft entirely.
