GamerToken joins the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance
We’re proud to be joining the world’s largest open-source blockchain initiative.
GamerToken has just become the one of largest gaming ventures to join the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). As a member of the EEA, GamerToken will collaborate with industry leaders in pursuit of Ethereum-based enterprise technology best practices, open standards and open-source reference architectures.
“We are proud to become a member of the new EEA gaming work group. With the network built by the EEA we aim to explore new ways of utilizing the underlying technology and participate in cross-industry collaborations to create new opportunities.” — CEO of GamerToken Jens Knauber.
With more than 500 member companies, the EEA membership base represents a wide variety of business sectors from every region of the world, including technology, banking, government, healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals, marketing, insurance, and now — thanks to GamerToken — gaming.
GamerToken is using Ethereum to enable secure transparent transactions while empowering gaming communities to shape their games’ directions. The core of GamerToken’s technology is built on ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards, making the EEA a perfect fit. We’re confident that together we can achieve remarkable results in scalability, privacy, and utility.
The EEA is an industry-supported, not-for-profit, established to build, promote and support Ethereum-based technology practices and standards. The EEA is helping to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology, providing research and development in a range of areas. The EEA is also investigating hybrid architectures that span both permissioned and public Ethereum networks as well as industry-specific application layer working groups.
The EEA’s industry-focused, member-driven working groups are each tasked with creating and delivering specific advancements to the development and use of Ethereum-based technologies. GamerToken will be also be working with other collaborators to help create the EEA’s first gaming group. This working group will be used to expand our thinking and develop new Ethereum applications within the sphere of gaming and blockchain.
Through collaboration, GamerToken and other EEA members hope to facilitate the type of groundbreaking change and mass adoption that would be unachievable in individual corporate silos.
The EEA’s expertise could prove invaluable; we eagerly await collaborative problem-solving and idea sharing that will help GamerToken to level-up and lead the world’s gaming ecosystems.
