As GameStation’s COO, Todd oversees the marketing, team direction, and onboarding protocols, as well as maintaining delivery of project Key Performance Indicators. This makes him truly instrumental in providing precise results for GameStation and its multiple partner gaming companies.

Todd’s background in marketing and logistical processes ensures that the strategic vision of GameStation is translated into systematic and profitable ventures.

Our GamerGirl decided to catch up with the man himself to learn more about GameStation, his role, and why he’s so excited to be a part of the team.

What’s your background? What inspired you to become a part of GameStation?

I’ve done a lot of things in my life! My approach has always been unique and different. From being HR manager to building homes as a general contractor and firefighting, I’ve had a lot of roles. Since 2008, I’ve been working in the marketing field, especially internet and affiliate marketing. When my friends at GameStation hit me up and asked if I wanted to try something different, it sounded exciting and I jumped on board. I’m so happy I did! Being part of GameStation and part of a team that works through issues and creates a streamlined flow has been so rewarding, even through difficult times. Being part of GameStation is one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.

I love that GameStation is part of the blockchain space. When else in human history could you be so transparent and so private at the same time? It really allows speedy transactions between people all around the globe! This has never really happened before and to see what gaming is doing within the blockchain space is phenomenal. To see the progress that’s happened in just the last 12 months, it blows my mind sometimes. To have GameStation be a part of that is just so exciting. We’re at the forefront of the newest transformation in the online space.

You’re very open about wanting to create an environment that puts the needs of the community first. How do you think that positively impacts GameStation?

A community-first approach has always been part of my way of doing things at GameStation. I even changed my Telegram handle to a subtext that says, ‘Does this benefit the community?’ Even with the last project we had, we have always been looking at what we can do to benefit the community.

To me, it’s sort of like a marriage! In a good marriage, you can’t make somebody happy, but you do everything you can to create an environment where your spouse chooses happiness. We try to keep that same mindset when it comes to approaching the GameStation community. What can we do to create an environment in which our community members are happy, fulfilled, and feel rewarded? It’s been a tough environment with the bear market, but for those who stick with it, we’ll see the rewards very soon.

What makes GameStation special?

The first thing that comes to mind is our Telegram moderators. Anyone who has been part of the community and part of the chat knows how responsive, caring, and understanding they are. In other spaces online, I don’t see the same care and attention as our moderators give. I think that’s what sets us apart. We have a similar business model to other companies, but our moderators are really unique and special.

Would you agree that community is a vital part of GameStation?

I don’t think vital is a strong enough word. I would say community is the foundation of what GameStation is. It’s really like a family. We have people who disagree with approaches and help us ensure we do our due diligence. Our community gets down to the details of a project and brings up things that others haven’t seen. We couldn’t be successful without our community doing that and helping us fine tune projects. I really appreciate the community.

How does Gamer Girl help GameStation users and create a great environment?

Gamer Girl is a great addition to the GameStation team, even if she’s digital! Every great company has a great mascot or someone who identifies with the brand. You have Ronald McDonald for McDonald’s, or the polar bears for Coca Cola. Gamer Girl will be the one engaging — in a super high-tech fashion — with the modern era we’re in right now. She’ll be engaging not just with our current community, but our future communities too. She’s not just limited to GameStation; she’s going to be out in the Metaverse, in the digital world, promoting and explaining the pros of GameStation. We’re really excited to have Gamer Girl as part of our team now.

GameStation is a multi-chain community-oriented gaming incubator and launchpad. We are adding a gamification layer to the launchpad to make it easier and more fun for gamers to participate and invest in innovative games. GameStation will also allow users access to an NFT marketplace where they can buy and sell in-game items easily. Finally, the community is at the center of GameStation, and gamers will have the opportunity to create social events and tournaments.
