Gametacus: Unlocking the Potential of Universal NFTs

Gametacus is designed to provide gamers with complete control over their assets, enabling them to monetise their skills and investments in a fair and transparent way. By offering decentralised solutions for game rewards, transactions, and governance, we aim to create a gaming ecosystem that is more accessible, transparent, and rewarding for players. One of the main features of our platform is the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to represent in-game assets. NFTs allow players to have complete control over their assets, enabling them to monetise their skills and investments in a fair and transparent way.

Universal NFT across all games

Gametacus has designed a new universal NFT mechanism to turn game NFTs into ecosystem NFTs, unlike single-game NFTs that lose their value as the game’s lifecycle declines. Our approach is a comprehensive bottom-up in product and game design planning. We take into account the continuous use of each NFT in every new product and game, thus extending the value of NFTs infinitely.

Our ecosystem NFTs are applicable to various types of NFTs across all games, such as game character NFTs, game passes, and upgrade potions.

For example:

• The Norse God of Thunder NFT can be both a Hero in its own chess game and a Sculpture in Tower Defence depending on the game that is being played.
• Five Thunderbolts can be a Skill in Tower Defence games, a Skill Card in a Card Game, or a Move in an APRG.
• Game Passes are valid across games.
• Upgrade Potions in games can be used to level up across all games.

The process of designing cross-game characters using game character NFTs is a bottom- up approach, where our game planners carefully consider whether the character should appear in each game, what their appearance should be, and what values and skills they should possess. As we accumulate more games in our ecosystem, a matrix of character NFTs and games emerges, where the NFTs are compatible with the games and the games are also compatible with NFTs.

For instance, in the screenshot below, Thor’s performance in parkour and javelin games showcases the versatility of character NFTs.

NFTs have a wide range of use cases beyond games, which enables us to create a series of stories around them. Our platformization of NFTs reflects our intention to showcase them as a product rather than just for individual games.

When players use the same NFT across multiple games, it strengthens their awareness of the NFT, contributing to the creation of a series of intellectual properties (IPs). These IPs will serve as the native IPs of Web3, starting with Web3 games, while the metaverse will serve as their infinite universe.

NFT Characters

We have designed more than 100 different NFT characters, and we will introduce more as the Gametacus Multiverse evolves.

Differentiated by rarity, we divide the NFTs into five levels:

“Common”, “Rare”, “Epic”, “Legendary”, “Mythic”.

We aim to bring the joy of collecting NFTs back into the game, where the rarest items are obtained through in-game drops or awarded to champions. In the future, as we develop more NFT-heavy games such as simulations and strategy games, we will gradually introduce more types of NFTs, including equipment and items, in addition to characters.

NFTs are an important holding certificate in the Gametacus ecosystem. They can be used directly in our products and games, and we will also design a series of collection benefits for NFTs. For example, obtaining and staking five designated NFT characters will unlock blessings in the Gametacus Multiverse, providing additional bonuses such as increased
combat power and accelerated experience in our ecosystem products.

There are two ways to acquire NFTs on our platform: in-App and on-Chain.

In-App ways to obtain NFTs include:

• In-Game Purchases through “Summoning”
• Obtaining them through Runes
• Participating in Campaigns and Events
• Winning Special Competitions.

On-Chain ways to obtain NFTs include:

• Opening Mystery Boxes
• Conducting Player-to-Player transactions
• Receiving Airdrops.

In addition, Gametacus will soon launch a mystery box pre-sale campaign called FOMO ALPHA on its official website. In this event, a total of 30,000 mystery boxes will be available for pre-sale.
