The most basic animations are some of the greatest building blocks in a game and their exclusion creates a trip into the uncanny valley that no-one enjoys (unless that is the point of course).

Now I am not an animator myself but I have dabbled. Crafting a basic animation to approach a degree of realism is a time sink that not many can afford.

This pack steps into the limelight to help solve that problem.

At first blush its cost jumps out, normally we cover free or extremely cheap asset packs here for beginners.

This one is definitely on the cheap end for what it offers, coming in at $12.99. For the price it offers a full selection of basic injured and revived animations that are great for a discerning dev on a budget.

15 different variations make the selection robust. There is only one of each type of animation is present but their quality makes up for the lack of individual variation.

I don’t have an animators hat to put on for this one so, my demographic is target audience this pack is aimed at.

The animations are all set to the unreal mannequin skeleton making them reusable so long as you work with that skeleton.

If you are looking for a set of animations for a prototype or a blockout, this is well worth the cost. If you can work these into your final product then even better, they definitely serve that purpose for either at any perspective or style of game.
