Welcome to the first in what should be many episodes in the new GameTextures Tutorial Series!

Taking the helm for the majority of our tutorials going forward is Keegan Keene. Keegan handles all of our Alpha and Height work, as well as a large portion of our material scanning. You can check out his work here.

GameTextures Blender materials were tailor made to work with the NodeIO plugin for an efficient drag and drop functionality.

The Blender node editor is very powerful and the NodeIO plugin allows you to easily share or import materials without a ton of prep time.

Eevee allows for simple material setups, especially with our bitmaps. Keegan shares his process and the reasoning behind his choices in depth.
