The work of a concept artist is always evolving and John’s work has the capability to grow with the times.

A beautiful painted style is what makes Johns work look so iconic, he has the skill to know when to leave a painting off at the exact level of detail that communicates what he needs to. Whether it is the detailed rendering of the interior of a space ships cockpit that shows all the different readouts or the messy splash of light and color that is EVA-01 the pieces all communicate a level of emotion and intent that is perfect for the individual piece.

John has a long work history, almost ten years in across various industries. As a self taught artist he has a fantastic pedigree of companies, big names like Microsoft, Oculus and Drifter to point to, proving his skills in a relatively cutthroat arena.

Science Fiction Concept art has a special place in my heart. Ever since I was young it has been a touchstone for my own creativity, leafing through old art books and just looking at retro book covers has driven my journey through art. The fact that that very same journey has lead me to the art of John Wallin Liberto is something I am quite grateful for.
