Hilary is an incredibly talented concept artist who works just as easily with environments as she does characters. Whether it is her personal work or her professional, she clearly has a focus on the theme and setting that is infinitely useful for a studio. I always have a love for the painterly styles that are found with her work, I find the way she paints to be very appealing in no small part because of her style.
She has just started working recently at Streamline Studios, an awesome new place to show off her work joins the rest of her impressive catalog of studios where she has made her mark. These include AnimaPoint where she worked on Moomin Valley and Mano Animation Studios where she worked painting backgrounds for the movie “The Glassworker”.
Streamline Studios is where she seems to have leaned into using 3D programs to integrate with their digital painting skillsets, it will be great to explore some of her more recent work as she has been focusing her personal work on the beautiful painterly scenes and environments that originally pulled my gaze.
