Gabriel Soares Brings Delightful Caricature into 3D Space for Everyone to Enjoy

Gabriel Soares is a Brazilian Artist who works with both digital painting and 3D programs to explore all the facets of the art he enjoys. His love for the look and feel of oil paintings is evident in his 2D digital work, and the grasp of shadow, light, and form when using the simulated medium creates incredible pieces. Soares’ 3D work shines as well, with awesome caricature pieces as well as stylized variations of popular characters and creatures, which have the same life and energy as his digital oil paintings.
Soares also worked as an artist for the movie Klaus. He has shared some of the works he did for the project, and even showed some of his process for making the color keys. It’s always a privilege to get insight into the way an artist works, and we are excited to see more from Soares in the future.
