Konstantin Vavilov is a Concept Artist that Explores Dark and Fantastical Themes with his Art
Konstantin Vavilov is the owner and founder of Dagger Crown Studio, his very own concept art and illustration studio that has among its work credits, Darksiders 3 and Pathfinder Kingmaker. While he manages a studio with dedicated and skilled artists he is definitely one himself.
He has his own personal project, the Buried City that showcases some incredible character design and dark imagery. If you take a certain delight in the grim and the dark then taking a deep dive into the Buried City will be right up your alley.
The style of work that Konstantin most prefers lines up pretty nicely with some of the work he has been tapped for, specifically for my part is the Diablo art. His style matches the feel of that series so well for me that as I was surprised to find out that he had not done more of the concepts from the series. Check out his Book of Adria work, you won’t regret it.
