Meggie Rock’s Art Shines in Anthem

Meggie Rock is an Environment Artist over at Bioware and has been working on Anthem during her time there. She had previously worked at Gunfire Games on Darksiders 3 and From Other Suns.

Meggie has a deft touch when developing materials, the body of her work that I can see is created in Substance Designer and it is fantastic. I can only imagine where her texture art has gone to in the three years since.

You can see that she has an eye for composition and framing, her Dragon Age inspired environment is a testament to her skill and what I can only assume is a love letter to the other artist over at Bioware.

Meggie’s work on Anthem has been as part of a larger team, she has helped to bring the world to life by working with Shawn Kassian(who we covered earlier) and others. Being able to weave your art with others and come together to create the final overall vision is one of the hardest parts of working in the industry and she has showcased that clearly.
