Unity has been a major development engine since 2005, built on the ideals that helped create the huge indie development scene that exists today; democratizing game development and getting the right tools in the hands of amateurs or professionals regardless of their previous experience.

Getting started in any engine however has its own struggles, Speedtutor created this Unity tutorial series that covers a lot of the the groundwork involved with jumping into Unity.

The videos are short and sweet for the most part, some of them taking longer due to the more dense material.
