Keegan Keene is back again this week with a tutorial, this time on how to set up some of our scanned foliage materials from the Library inside of Blender.

Getting the material set up and applying it properly to the mesh is covered in depth.

He also shows the best practices for assembling the pieces of the plan as several meshes, putting together low poly but highly modifiable pieces into a single plant asset.

The finished piece looks great and shows how slight variations of the layout can create nearly infinite possibilities when creating plants, trees and general foliage using GT foliage scans.
