Viktor Germogenov is a Master at Sculpting Detailed Characters
A great character artist across the board, Viktor has an eye for anatomy with a flair for perfection that is actually shown in his best light by the ways he chooses to break from the norm. Some of his finest work is his hyper real face work in Call of Duty with an incredible sense of details for both organic and synthetic structures. His more interesting work, in my opinion, shines through with the stylized or monstrous where he breaks from natural anatomy in ways that still work and communicate the story of that change that seems perfectly aligned with the art direction you see.
He pulls inspiration from a wide range of games, never shying from giving a nod towards the games that most influences him over the course of his life. You can see this in his art, with the calls of duty, half life and elder scrolls series likely sparking the appetite for character work, telling stories and improving on the industry in that regard.
Victor is currently working at Treyarch as a character artist and has been for several years, his work is easily found in Black Ops 4. Before that he had worked on various trailer projects for the God of War series at Santa Monica Studio. As for education, he took classes at Boise State University but if anyone proves the power of motivated self learning it is him with a majority of his education coming from work-shops and self taught adventures.
