GameWisp is coming to DreamHack Austin!

Last year, DreamHack brought its first U.S. digital festival to Austin, with huge success. This year they are running it back, with additional events in Atlanta and Denver. It was such a great event last year, that we wanted to get involved.

So this year, GameWisp will be sponsoring the DreamHack Stream Zone at all three events, starting with DreamHack Austin April 28–30 (next week at the time of this writing)!

For those of you who don’t know, DreamHack has been putting on festivals in Sweden since the 90’s, creating the world’s largest digital festival, with esports tournaments, a huge LAN party, cosplay competition, digital arts competitions, and more. Last year, they decided to bring a piece of that festival to the U.S. and it did so well that they are doing again this year.

We are so excited to be a part of what DreamHack is doing this year, even in our own small way.

The Stream Zone will include 10 streaming stations, so if you are coming to DreamHack and interested in streaming, you can apply here. Spots are limited, and quickly filling up, so make sure you get your application in if you are attending DreamHack and interested in streaming from the show floor. (Quick disclaimer: streamers are selected by DreamHack, not GameWisp, according to criteria set by DreamHack.)

GameWisp staff will also be hanging out on the show floor all weekend, so make sure you find us and say hello! We will probably have some swag with us as well as an added incentive.
