Since the dawn of the Twitch API, man has created bots to assist him on his streaming journey. Many (many) bots have risen from the fingertips of many a hardworking streamer/programmer hoping to create something to help herself, her community, and other streamers.

DeepBot is one such bot. DeepBot is intended to be an all in one tool for streamers looking to create an interactive experience with their chat. One of the bot’s key features is a loyalty system, which allows streamers to provide incentives to viewers in order to build and foster their communities.

DeepBot started this journey on Twitch in July 2013, where it was one of the first few loyalty bots which moved away from chat based configuration to a user interface for streamers. DeepBot has been in active development since its debut, adding over 400 requested features in over 200 separate updates, with more features being added each month.

That’s the same expression I had, Keanu.

Ask Not What You Can Do For DeepBot…

That seems nice, but what can DeepBot do for me? Due to DeepBot’s lifespan and constant incorporation of user’s requests, it now supports a litany of features. Just seeing them in text is pretty mind boggling, so let’s do that right now, shall we?

To date, DeepBot allows a streamer to do the following:

  • Set a custom name for a bot.
  • Loyalty Points
  • Create custom user classes [VIP levels to organize your user groups] with Individual class loyalty point multipliers
  • User management via a database manager
  • Follower Notifications / Automated Follower actions
  • Twitch Sub Notifications / Automated Sub actions
  • Donation/Tip Notifications / Automated Donation/Tip actions
  • GameWisp Sub Integration / Notifications / Automated actions
  • Customisable donation/tip pages
  • Stream Games [Bank Heist — yes, that was invented by DeepBot — Arena and Drag Race]
  • Raffle manager for ticket raffles / keyword raffles / auctions with user class filters and subscriber luck configurations
  • Viewer Queues
  • Stream Polls
  • Quotes Manager
  • Notifications Dashboard
  • Automated hosting manager
  • Automated commercials manager
  • Discord / Chat integration
  • Advanced custom command module [access remote APIs, read/save files, use if/else logic, chain commands … so many options that it literally allows you to create complex events/workflows/games]
  • Twitch Alerts donation integration / Notifications / Automated actions
  • Stream tip donation integration / Notifications / Automated actions
  • YouTube song requests
  • Community support chat
  • OBS On-screen Chat
  • Follower/Sub/Donation/GameWisp target trackers (including on screen widgets)
  • Chat moderation
Seems appropriate, Kevin.

So What About the GameWisp Integration?

Despite this smorgasbord of features, the folks behind DeepBot still had time to use the Singularity API to build some pretty cool GameWisp goodies into DeepBot.

The integration allows you to give your subs customized loyalty points for each GameWisp tier, with its own unique sound and chat message. You can also award resubscribers bonus points for their continued support and provide a unique resub message. This comes with the standard on screen notifications which can be fully customized using CSS.

The bot also integrates with the GameWisp API to remind subs when their resub anniversary is available so that they can share their anniversary with the stream using an on-screen anniversary alert.

Lastly, DeepBot allows for streamers to manage sub targets and show them on stream to rally support, along with a leader board that shows recent activity including followers, twitch subs, donations and GameWisp subs.

So Where Do I Sign Up?

DeepBot has spent years earning its moniker: the all in one streamer tool, and really is the swiss army knife of bots. The GameWisp integration just makes it that much more powerful and useful to the thousands of streamers that choose to use GameWisp to support their streaming and bolster their communities.
