Setting up a rock-solid partnered streamer program for your game isn’t just about organizing and communicating with the creators your already know. It’s also about finding new creators who can help your game or product reach a larger audience, the right audience. GameWisp Connect is about making your relationships with Twitch, Mixer, and YouTube stars stronger, and we mean every step of the way…

That’s why we’re thrilled to show off a new way to find new creators: the GameWisp Connect Discovery Engine.

The new Discovery page leverages data from Twitch, Mixer, Twitter, and YouTube to help you identify new potential partners in promoting your game or product.

Twitch

Our connection with Twitch allows users to filter the millions of streamers on the platform and identify creators who might be a good fit for your brand. The most powerful feature is being able to search the platform based on the last game someone has played on stream. If your game is already released, you can perform a search for your title to identify which creators are already playing it, letting you track down potential partners who already show enthusiasm for your IP. Or, search for similar titles to find creators with the right sized audiences who would likely be interested in your product.

You’ll also be able to narrow your results based on all the important metrics: ‘Follower’ count, number of ‘Views,’ average concurrent viewers, partner status, affiliate status, and more! Combined, all these options make it simple to sift through the ocean of streamers and find great potential partners for your project.

Mixer

Filtering Mixer users is not, yet, as robust as Twitch, but is still a powerful tool for identifying creators on the site who have developed strong platforms. In addition to being able to search for individual creators by name, users can sort Mixer streamers by Follower count, Views, and Mixer Partnership status.

With Mixer’s smaller, but rapidly growing, stable of users, these metrics provide an excellent starting point in identifying whose stream represents a solid potential opportunity in getting your product out in front of a receptive audience. We’re also constantly building and expanding what GameWisp Connect can do, and plan to add more functionality for Mixer in the future.

YouTube and Twitter

Discovery features for YouTube and Twitter are currently in the early stages of development, and offer the ability to filter each platform’s users via simple metrics. YouTube users can be organized and filtered by Subscriber and View counts, and Twitter users by Followers and total Tweets. Like all GameWisp Connect features, they too will be iterated on and expanded as we move forward.
