Welcome to the Contacts Page

The Contacts page is where much of the work of managing creators through GameWisp Connect begins. This is where you’ll import all of the creators you hope to, or currently, work with; segment, organize, and categorize them; and engage with or monitor individual channels. This is where every Connect-facilitated relationship begins, and where the work of managing that relationship will take place. Let’s take a closer look at how it all works.

Adding Contacts

The first step in working with creators through GameWisp Connect is to add your contacts to the system, and you begin that process by selecting the green button in the upper right hand corner of the page. You’ll then be able to manually enter an individual contact or add groups of creators by uploading a .csv file.

It’s important to make sure any .csv file uploaded is properly formatted so that each creator’s feed can be populated with as much relevant data as possible. There’s a link to a template in the import file pop-up you can use to be sure your columns are labeled correctly. You can also download that template here.

The contact import feature recognizes the following fields: Nickname, First Name, Last Name, Email, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, Mixer. The latter four refer to the creator’s username on said platform.

Once you’ve uploaded a file, importing can take a bit of time, depending on how many contacts are in your uploaded file. Once processing has completed, the contacts will be visible in your contact list.

Searching/Viewing

The search function can be used to pull up an individual creator by name. Additional fields can also be added to the contact page by using the add column feature in the upper right hand corner.

You can use this feature to add any contact information or performance statistics to the contact page itself for easy viewing. This is particularly useful once you’re…

Segmenting Contacts

You can use the “Add Filter” feature on the left side of the contact page to break your contacts into smaller groups based on any number of metrics and data points. There are five filter types to choose from:

Applications

View contacts who have filled out a particular application you’ve created on GameWisp Connect. For more information on Applications, click here.

Lifecycle Stage

Filter your contacts by how close they are to being a part of your influencer program. Can be changed on each creator’s individual contact page.

Metrics

See creators who do or do not achieve a particular metric on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, or Mixer.

Property

Group your creators by contact or other available information, including city and gender. Fields can be changed on each creator’s individual contact page.

Tags

Populate lists of creators based on custom tags created on each individual contact page.

Once you’ve selected the filters for your segment, you can view and scan through the list. You can also select the “Save Segment” button to add it to the list below, allowing you to come back to it with ease. You’ll also be able to run reports on any segment you create, allowing you to take a better look at whole subsections of your contact list.
