Assassin’s Creed Sold Over 100 Million Copies
Assassin’s Creed has been responsible for a great share of Ubisoft’s success. The developer has sold over 100 million copies of the franchise, including all editions. They are one of the leading developers in the industries and undoubtedly make some of the best games.
Assassin’s Creed has entered the league where only a few games are present. Some of the other games that have achieved so much of success are GTA, Mario, Final Fantasy, FIFA, NFS and Pokemon.
Although the franchise started in 2007, since 2014, Assassin’s Creed has sold over 73 million copies of different editions of their game. According to Senior Producer Martin Schelling, “Creating an Assassin’s Creed game is no easy task…. It takes the creativity and hard work of many people in many different Ubisoft studios all over the world. To have this franchise join the ranks of those that have reached more than 100 million sold is a testament to the teams that have taken on that challenge over the years.”
The developer is really positive about reaching the milestone and has promised to improve the overall gameplay experience in time to come. Not just the developing team but everyone associated with game is looking forward to taking long strides and achieving even greater feat together.
“Having seen what’s gone into this year’s movie and into future Assassin’s Creed games, we think fans and newcomers alike will be excited by everything Assassin’s Creed has to offer,” Assassin’s Creed Brand Director Etienne Allonier was heard saying.
