Division Season Pass Gets Free DLC

When Tom Clancy’s The Division (PC, Xbox One, PS 4) first came out earlier this year, it had topped almost all charts in terms of sales. Not just that, the game was widely played even on the Xbox One console. Even before the launch of the game the development team has made sure that the game receives regular updates and there is proper maintenance. In fact they have been releasing DLCs to enhance the user experience and also provide a season pass, priced at $40, to those who wish to get the new content as soon as it is available.

But the season pass does more than give early access to the content, that too at a cheaper cost. Every month it provides “special benefits” which are exclusive for the pass holders. So as a part of this month’s content, players get Safari Purple and Burst Mountain Weapon Skin and 5 High — End Crafting Materials. Ubisoft made the announcements on Twitter regarding the content just a few hours ago. The new content has already been delivered to all the season pass holders at the time being.

Although Tom Clancy’s The Division saw a lot of sales at the time of the release, they did face a lot of maintenance and server issues. Perhaps they were unable to anticipate the success of their game and popularity it subsequently had. Owing to this, the server has been under maintenance and down for quite a few times. But this has not had any substantial effect on the popularity of the game. In fact the developers made sure that whatever issue came along their way, they were able to mitigate it through updates.

It is speculated that the 1.2 update, which is on its way, would further solve the glitches and other system improvements. However, Ubisoft has not revealed any details about the 1.2 update so far.
