Gears of War 4’s Worldwide Release On October 11

Coming later this year is Gears of War 4, published by Microsoft and developed by The Coalition. Needless to say, the third person shooter game will be a Xbox One exclusive which will be launched worldwide at once on October 11. While speaking about the game, the Community Director Adam Fletcher from The Coalition, said that “a chain of upcoming revelations about what’s in store for JD Fenix and the next generation of Gears heroes.”

The Gears of War 4’s story features 2 new characters along with Marcus Fenix’s son. The Coalition has also stated that the current game has adopted a few features from the first edition. As posted by Adam on Xbox Wire, “Harkening back to the dark and intense roots of the original classic, fans can expect a familiar, yet the distinct evolution of gameplay, including brutal and intimate action, a heart-pounding campaign, genre-defining multiplayer and stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4.”

But we don’t have to wait till the last quarter of the year to get some action of the game. On April 18, Gears of War 4’s multiplayer beta for Xbox One will be available, but this beta is only open for those who have played the Gears of War Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or PC on or before April 11. So those consoles and PCs that have played the Ultimate edition will receive the Beta tokens starting from April 18. The Beta will be available for everyone till April 24, However, all Xbox Live Gold members have access to it and can get the beta until May 1. Not just this, the cover art has been finalized as well.

Here’s the Gear of War 4 preview Trailer posted on the official Youtube channel. While this is just the trailer, expect the game to have much better graphics and a really great gameplay.
