Life is Strange (LIS) is developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix. The game started coming out last year in parts, and now the entire the season is available now! The game has been developed for the PS 4, Xbox One, PC, PS 3 and Xbox 360 and it is priced at Rs 1,999/- on Gamexs. What’s inside the box? The box contains the entire series on a Blu-ray and it comes with a hardcover artbook, and a soundtrack CD for you to listen to your favorite tracks from the game when you are not playing it.

LiS is different from the usual action-thriller game, instead focuses on relationships. The game is based on the life of the female protagonist Max and her friendship with Chloe Price. The game lets you experiment, and teaches you the effect of your actions and the choices. So instead of the one-tone game-play, in LiS the game shapes differently each time, based on your selection. It would be fairly accurate to term this game reactionary. This teen drama game has become so popular after its release that Square Enix decided to make the available in stores.

You could be listening to the music and going through the art book when you’re not playing the game. Both the art book and the soundtrack CD create a deeper connection with the game this will make you feel more involved with the game. The CD has 14 of the licensed songs from the core campaign and brings a few tracks from Jonathan Morali’s soft rock score. The music according to me is really the icing on the cake, and you could spend hours listening to it on repeat!

All in all, if you are looking for a game which will let you try different things, and over the course of the game allow you to see what the chain of reactions will be, then Life is Strange is the game for you. If you have tried an episode then you know what to expect to form it, so don’t curtail your urge, and play the entire season to see where your fairs through the 6 episodes to the end.

Here is the link to the trailer for those of you who have not given the game a try!
