Google Might Launch a New Virtual Reality Headset This Year

Google one of the leading companies and yes, one of the wealthiest companies as well might be willing to bring another VR headset.
I don’t believe that it will be a gaming headset anyway but hey, they working on something and Google never really fails to amaze us.

Speaking of Headset, Google already have a low budget VR like headset in the markets. The Google Cardboard which is a pretty decent Smartphone only headset. Although things will change this time as Google is planning to make a serious headset. They are probably stepping into the VR game, challenging big makers like Oculus and Samsung.

According to the reports, the new headset will have better and improved sensors and a solid build quality obviously made up of plastic to make it light weight. Just like the previous headset, the newer one will use smartphones for its display and computing power. Well, they might add iPhone support. Who knows?

According to reports, again yes, the headset will support a lot more android smartphones than the current Gear VR does which only supports “newer” galaxies.

Well, I believe that even though Google is kinda little late to the VR department, they still can rock. The Cardboard already shipped 5 Million units. The sad thing is, other more powerful and versatile VR headsets are also releasing this year so it will be a tight squeeze for the Google one.

Anyways am not VR type of a guy anyway, I would like to watch moves with it but the scary thing what if someone scared the crap out of you whilst you were enjoying your movie? God that still scares me…
