Guitar Hero is extremely good on iOS
Guitar hero, one of the most popular rhythmic game out there in which you have to act like you’re the one playing all the chords and producing the music.
Though, this time, it’s something big and really huge. In the past, Guitar hero has always been available on iOS but a stripped down version. Means the game was there, but it had to sacrifice a lot in order to be there, Songs were less, animations were cut off and it didn’t feel like a “Guitar Hero” game as it would on its console counterparts.

Guitar hero have and will always be a Console game first as that is where it feels at home, although there’s a catch. For the very first time, Guitar hero on the iOS feels extremely good, there are almost few to none sacrifices. It plays absolutely beautifully.
One of the key factors to differentiate Guitar hero on iOS from its console counterparts was the Plastic Guitar with all the tactile and plasticky buttons which could enhance and take your rock star feeling to a whole another level. Well, this time, Guitar Hero on iOS is set to change that as there is a 99$ bundle pack available at electronic stores which includes everything. T-Mobile is selling a Bluetooth version of the same guitar for iOS and it feels no different. So now you can play the console game on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or even the Apple TV, with no sacrifices. It’s truly amazing!
But, is it really that good? To be honest, I would say it’s 90 percent there, almost all the accessories are available for the iOS part, but there are few hickups here and there. For example, you would have to download the songs all the time which isn’t the case on PS4 and Xbox one as the songs will either be downloaded on the hard drive or will be straight streaming from the disc. It’s not that big of a deal, but if you happen to have no internet connection or have a slow one, you might fall into some trouble.

Guitar Hero: Live on iPhone 6s plus[/caption]
Another big thing is that the screen of these devices, especially iPhone and iPod. The game plays in Portrait mode, which accentuates the highway of notes that constantly flow toward you. The note highway fades into oblivion, leaving about a third of the screen to display the full-motion video that plays over every Guitar Hero Live song. I mean it’s not terrible and we are grateful at least that the game is there for us to play. And if you’re still worried whether you should buy the game or not, you can download the free version from the Apple store and try it, yes it will be more of a “restricted” version with few songs available, but it will be enough to give you an idea what the journey is all about. In the end, it safe to say Guitar Hero is extremely good on iOS
