The arena was set! Epic battles were fought! the dust has now settled.. and OG emerged as the winners taking home a stunning $1.11 million along with the tittle of champions of Frankfurt Major 2015.
OG entered Frankfurt Major 2015 through the European Regional Qualifiers, and battled through the lower bracket to make a dream run all the way to the Grand Finals.
On their way to victory they took down Fnatic, Mineski, Virtus Pro, CDEC Gaming, EHOME and Evil Geniuses. OG bagged the Grand Finals against the titans Team Secret with a series score of 3–1.
Following the success of Frankfurt Major 2015, Valve announced the next Dota2 major to be held at Shanghai, China from 2nd to 6th March, 2016.
