New Update Brings Blu-ray Support For Xbox One S

Developers and studios have been playing a greater role in the gaming industry these days. They have been making sure that games video games continue to be engaging for gamers for a longer time after its release. Microsoft has recently launched an update for its newly launched Xbox One S.

The new update adds new Blu-ray features to the console. Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra detailed the update, he explained that it lets Xbox One S support BD-R and BD-RE Blu-ray discs. This move will let the gamers do a lot more on the console.

The last time they had released a major update for the console was in November last year. They had introduced Xbox One backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games.
