Project Scorpio to Run Xbox 360 Games

It has been known for a while now that all games that run on the Xbox One will be playable on the Project Scorpio. But there is some more good news along with this. Till now there were only rumors about Project Scorpio supporting games from Xbox 360. Recently Microsoft confirmed the backward compatibility of games on Project Scorpio.

This means that Project Scorpio will run all the games that can be played on Xbox One. This appears to be in tandem with Xbox boss Phil Spencer. He has been seen earlier commenting that Microsoft games and Xbox would promote a gaming culture where gamers will be free to play games on different devices.

So if you have enjoyed playing a game on your PC or your Xbox 360 then you can continue playing that game on the latest console. We hope that this does not stop with the consoles, and continues with future consoles that will be produced by Microsoft and Xbox.

Coming back to Xbox and backward compatibility games, since last year November, Xbox has been adding games to an already long list of games.
