Sleeping Dogs Spin-Off Triad Wars not to be released

The popular game Sleeping Dogs’ spin-off Triad Wars will not be released. The beta version of the game was available since earlier this year. This version will be off-air forever, four weeks from now
The developers United Front Games posted today in its forums today that it will terminate the beta version of this game on January 20 at 12 pm PST. The game will be available until then although United Front has stopped accepting real-money purchases.
Gold is the currency in this game with which the players can purchase customization and Favor packs. To purchase gold, players had to use real money, but now the developer has made it available free of charge until the game’s closure. They have also said that the information regarding refunds for unused gold will be posted in the near future

That’s 4 weeks from today and over this time we’re going to leave the game up and running for you to continue to enjoy, but we will not be accepting any more purchases. To help you enjoy these final 4 weeks we’re going to make Gold available free of charge and we’ll shortly be posting news on the forums about how to deal with refunds of unused Gold.
