Need For Speed. The most popular game about racing is going really fast. It’s like the Fast and the Furious of games. Lighting Speed Cars, doing objectives, passing through the story and yes, creating your name on top of the list. Well most NFS games are good but these five are the best ever made.
NOTE: Games in this list are rated on their ratings and my personal time. These are my top five favorites.
5. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. The game which is based on the rivalry between the cops and the racers who break the rules. The game had a decent story. In the game, all you had to do is unlock faster cars and win races. Well, Hot Pursuit wasn’t one of those games which were based on story or customization. Where it shined was graphics. The darn thing had some of the most beautiful graphics at its time which I believe still looks pretty good. It almost felt like it was ahead of it’s time (somewhat) anyways, It’s a pretty good darn racing game, but it won’t keep you plugged for ages.
4. Need For Speed The Run

Need For Speed The Run. One of the NFS games that gave me hard time playing on my crap PC. To be honest, to me, it actually didn’t feel like an “NFS”. Why? because it didn’t had customization. It didn’t have free roamed. It didn’t have cops chasing behind. (well, they were in a mission but in free roam or something, nah…) The game had beautiful graphics and the only reason why it is able to stand in this list is because it had a good story. Not a great one but it was pretty good. Also, the girl was very pretty but that’s none of your business…
3. Need For Speed 2015: The Reboot

I don’t know what went wrong that made EA backup the whole game rewrite the story. Anyways, the game is actually a pretty good one. It has a ton of customization, maybe the most you can ever get from an NFS game. It has cutscenes (which I love because most newer NFS left this thing behind). It has a good story. It has free roam, cops, cars. Even the graphics are damn good. It has almost everything you would ever want. You might be wondering if it had everything, why it is not on the top? Well, it has everything, ALMOST. The story which is good but could have been. They focused too much on customization. The only place where it stands still and in a good position is the graphics. I mean I don’t care what you say, those are ACTUALLY some of the best-looking graphics NFS ever had. Well, this game is more of subjective. It depends on different people. I just know it is not that good because I have played the best NFS game ever and I know it doesn’t even come close.
2. Need For Speed: Carbon

I said that the above game doesn’t even come close to what is the best. Well, this is the game that gets closest. It has a good story. a really good one actually. Decent to good customization and graphics were meh at the time but anyways. Well, carbon is the only game in this list which actually feels like could have been a real story. It has all the emotions you could ever think of. It has some of the best cars available. Well to an extent it is like every other NFS game where you had to complete races and get through the list. What I loved is the free roam. cops, the city itself was beautiful. I loved how it was based on the night. Well, to be honest, it is also one of the games that are able to stand in this because of its story because everything else is the same old NFS thingy. It’s still good none the less.

Need For Speed Most wanted. Tell me you weren’t thinking this game as the best. C’mon you’re lying. Every NFS fan knows what this game is about. This is where everything started. The journey. Where NFS got real. Where everything got real. Need For Speed Most wanted. This game actually had the best story I have ever seen in a racing game. Graphics was beautiful of it’s time. Cars were amazing. Customization was a beast. Even the bounty hunters. Even free roam was beautiful. It had some of the most amazing cops, some of the most amazing cutscenes I had ever seen. It’s truly a masterpiece to this day. I mean how can you not say that this is the best NFS ever made.
