Xbox One System Update Released
Microsoft has released a brand new Xbox One system update which will be addressing a few “behind-the-scenes” bugs. Larry “major Nelson” Hryb tweeted this news stating that the gamers not to expect fancy features with this update.
The patch notes will not be provided as Microsoft doesn’t intend to explain this software update. So, it is not clear what these bugs are or what systems/functionality they are related to.
The major Xbox One system update, the New Xbox One Experience, was revealed in November 2015. Additionally, the console’s User Interface has been overhauled and backwards compatibility support for Xbox 360 games was introduced. The significant Xbox One updates were released on a monthly basis by Microsoft.
However, Microsoft didn’t release any major Xbox One update in December and isn’t looking to release one in January. The sole reason for this is that Microsoft intends to focus on stability during the holiday season.
The next major update for Xbox One is scheduled to be released in February, Xbox engineer Mike Ybarra revealed (via DualShockers). However, no news on what this update may include.
