Phill Spencer, Microsoft's Keynote

After Microsoft’s Build 2016 developer keynote in the last couple of days of the March, Xbox head Phil Spencer talked to the media and interviewers about a couple of things. Some of the topics being really deep inside like discussing Cross Platform gaming, between Xbox one and PC and also mentioning that we probably won’t see a Halo 5 PC release which I know, is kind of sad but still everything else was pretty great except you talk about the newer versions of the current consoles.

Phill talked about the rumors of the new Playstation and how it could be a real thing although when someone asked what he thinks about the next “Xbox one”, he simply said that he isn’t looking forward to a Xbox one Version 2 at all. He said if Microsoft is going to bring a change, it will be a substantial change, in simpler words, another Xbox not the newer version of the current one.

He said,

“For us, our box is doing well. It performs, it’s reliable, the servers are doing well. If we’re going to go forward with anything, like I said, I want it to be a really substantial change for people — an upgrade.”

You have no idea how good that statement makes me feel like, it literally states that the current console is going to live it’s life to the fullest which I think is absolutely great. He also talked about the PlayStation rumours circulating around and how it could be a real thing although no details have come out by the Sony so we can just hope.

Quantum Break, Xbox one

Anyways, I believe Xbox one is a really good console, some of the things that it failed to do because of it’s hardware, it can definitely pull some of those back with its software, Direct X12. It already showed some really great results, for example, Quantum Break. That game looks absolutely beautiful.

Anyways, I’ll talk to you guys later
Cya :)
