Jera is the Nature Jotun specializing in using the natural properties of Tree Roots and poisonous flowers to surround, poison and when the occasion calls for, smash her enemies using her tremendously powerful fists.
🔸Main attacks🔸
🔹Ground Pound🔹
▪️Jera will hit the ground with her fists five times at 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180 degree angles simultaneously releasing a small Poison Cloud in front of her causing you to take poison damage over time.
🔹Large Poison Cloud🔹
▪️Jera will release a Large Poison Cloud that covers the entire battlefield causing you to take poison damage over time.
🔹Entrapment🔹
▪️Jera will dig her fists into the ground and summon a large amount of Entrapment which appear across the battlefield.
🔹Entrapment🔹
▪️At fifty percent health Jera will turn her fists into roots, dig them into the ground and grow six Tree Roots at 0, 45, 70 , 85, 135 and 180 degree angles in an attempt to trap you. The Tree Root will regenerate twenty seconds after being chopped through.
🔸The Battle🔸
🔹Pre-50% Boss Health🔹
Don’t worry about using your God Powers for this portion of the battle because she’s no harder than she was in normal mode.
▪️In order to make Jera appear you must run up to the single grey flower with an eye and attack it. It will begin to shudder and Jera will appear from underground.
▪️As the battle begins, Jera will immediately Ground Pound and release a small Poison Cloud in front of her.
▪️If Jera uses Ground Pound stay on the left side of her waiting for her to finish attacking at 45 degrees. Then run close and heavy attack three times. If you do this quick enough you can stun her and cause belly to split open and the grey flower inside of her to appear. This is her weak spot and will take extra damage when attacked.
▪️If Jera uses Entrapment focus of quickly chopping the closest ones to you while only chopping the ones that are stopping you from quickly reaching a blue flower.
▪️If Jera uses Large Poison Cloud, immediately run towards the blue flower as soon as you see the large grey flower appear on her back.
🔹Post-50% Boss Health🔹
▪️As soon as Jera reaches 50% health she will Roar and use Entrapment. As soon as this happens chop through either the 70 or 85 degree Tree Root, whichever is closest, in order to give yourself a clear path to a blue flower.
▪️From this point she will continue the same attack pattern as she did during pre-50% boss health with the addition of the Tree Roots now being present on the battlefield
▪️A few new things to be careful of is to never get surrounded by Entrapment and always have the Tree Root closest to you chopped. The Entrapment will continue to pester you and slow you down if you ignore them. In terms of priority:
▪️Tree Root, Thorny Root, Jera
▪️If you’re not trying for the Shun The Gods Achievement then this is where you can start using your God Powers. Use Loki’s Decoy only if Large Poison Cloud has just been used, a Tree Root is chopped and if the way to Jera is clear. Then use Freyja’s Speed, Thor’s Hammer and Heimdall’s Shield and heavy attack as much as possible not worrying about the damage you take as Frigg’s Healing will be used once you’re not able to safely attack anymore. After you’re forced to back off either due to the Entrapment, Ground Pound or the Large Poison Cloud, use two Gungnir’s. At this point if she isn’t already dead then repeat the attack combo again and that should finish her off.
