In Valhalla Mode Odin will always throw three Gungnir’s and can summon all five Jotun’s onto the battlefield.

🔸Main attacks🔸

🔹Gungnir🔹

▪️Odin dashes backwards up to two times, then throws his spear Gungnir at you but this time it splits into three at 45, 90 and 135 angles. All will continue hunting you, appearing one at a time until they hit you or disappear. It gives off a humming sound the closer it is to you.

🔹Summon Jera🔹

▪️Odin will Summon Jera at one of the six circles in which she will use her Poison Cloud attack before disappearing.

🔹Summon Fe🔹

▪️Odin will Summon Fe at one of the six circles in which she will use her Shield Toss attack before disappearing.

🔹Summon Isa🔹

▪️Odin will Summon Isa at one of the six circles in which he will use his Charge attack before disappearing.

🔹Summon Hagalaz🔹

▪️Odin will Summon Hagalaz at one of the six circles in which she will use her Lightning Strike attack before disappearing.

🔹Summon Kaunan🔹

▪️Odin will Summon Kaunan at one of the six circles in which he will use his High Jump 1 attack before disappearing.

🔸The Battle🔸

🔹100% Boss Health🔹

▪️At the start before he shows himself as Odin, run next to him and Charge up your heavy attack. Once Odin’s health bar appears use your heavy attack on him for a free hit.

▪️For the duration of the entire battle, if Odin isn’t attacking he will continue floating around the battlefield. If you can predict when he’s going to come close to you, you can use your heavy attacks on him. If you can’t predict accurately then spend your time using light attacks.

▪️When Odin uses Gungnir, dodge the initial throw and rush towards him. Use one heavy attack on him. Then as a Gungnir approaches make sure you’re aligned with Odin and Gungnir so that when you use a light attack to destroy it, you will also hit Odin. Continue using light attacks until the last Gungnir is destroyed.

▪️The next set of strategies will only differ in the amount of Jotun’s being summoned. Continue using the same strategy as 66% health.

🔹66% Boss Health🔹

▪️Once Odin reaches 66% health he will dash to the centre of the battlefield. This is where he will summon a Jotun. Immediately chase him there and continue using heavy attacks until he dashes away.

▪️If Odin uses Gungnir use one heavy attack, align yourself with Odin and Gungnir and use light attacks to hit both Odin and Gungnir as it gets close.

▪️If Odin uses Summon Jera stop what you’re doing and run to the other side of the battlefield because she will be using Poison Cloud.

▪️If Odin uses Summon Fe prepare to dodge her Shield Toss.

▪️If Odin uses Summon Isa run to either side to dodge Charge.

▪️If Odin uses Summon Hagalaz make sure your not using heavy attacks so you don’t get hit with Lightning Strike.

▪️If Odin uses Summon Kaunan dodge just as Kaunan lands from his High Jump 1.

🔹~50% Boss Health🔹

▪️Odin will summon two Jotun’s,

🔹~35% Boss Health🔹

▪️Odin will summon three Jotun’s.

🔹~20% Boss Health🔹

▪️Odin will summon all five Jotun’s.

▪️If you’re not trying for the Shun The Gods Achievement then this is where you can start using your God Powers. After Gungnir has been used and Odin is still. Use Freyja’s Speed, Thor’s Hammer and heavy attack as much as possible not worrying about Gungnir or the Jotun’s. As an attack is incoming use Heimdall’s Shield while continuing the attack. As soon as Heimdall’s Shield is done use it a second along with Freyja’s Speed and Thor’s Hammer if the third Gungnir hasn’t appeared. Next while Odin flies away use Loki’s Decoy while you throw two Gungnir’s while chasing him. Dodge the next Gungnir’s and use heavy attacks and prepare to use Frigg’s Healing as needed. At this point Odin should be defeated.

I love gaming especially old-school jRPGs, I love them to this day. Now I’ve come to love automating everything and placing things into databases. Super fun.
